Is the P-Tel 1616 - Carrier Select/Carrier Pre-Select service good for all my calls?

No, the Carrier Select/Carrier Pre-Select service won't let you access special tarification numbers (i.e. 0800, 0900, 78, 79,…) and short numbers (i.e. 1307, 111, 112, 119…). An error message will warn you that the number called is not accessible if you try to dial 1616 before such a number. You can access these numbers simply by not dialling 1616 in front of them.

How to activate the Carrier Select/Carrier Pre-Select service on my phone?

Download the appropriate subscription form, fill it in, and send it back duly signed, by fax or by mail. We will immediately process your activation request upon receipt of the fax.

Can I take advantage of the 1616 - Carrier Select/Carrier Pre-Select service without renting a line from BELGACOM?

No, the activation of P-Tel’s service requires that you be a client of Belgacom.

Your Carrier Select/Carrier Pre-Select service will remain active even if you change your address. However, please note that we need to change your address in our records in order to send you your invoices and avoid blocking your service for non-payment. Please fill-in the address change form at the end of your invoice and send it to us by fax or by mail once you have moved to your new address.
